Giant leatherbacks at Grande Riviere, Trinidad
Grande Riviere beach in Trinidad is the world’s highest density nesting site for giant leatherback turtles, while Trinidad and Tobago hosts the second largest number of nesting leatherbacks in the world each season. These ancient, majestic turtles and their hatchlings can be seen every year between March and September. Just breathtaking.
